What is the ROPA Method?
Reception of Oocytes from Partner (ROPA), also known as Reciprocal IVF, is a shared maternity treatment designed specifically for female couples. It allows both partners to participate biologically in the pregnancy.
Partner A: Genetic Mother
Undergoes Ovarian Stimulation and Puncture to provide the eggs (genetic material).
Sperm Donor
Eggs are fertilized in the lab using an anonymous, screened sample from our Semen Bank (ICSI or conventional IVF).
Partner B: Gestational Mother
Receives the embryo via Embryo Transfer after endometrial preparation, carrying the pregnancy to term.
